Putting undocumented illegal aliens as a priority above the
Greatest Generation California Senior Citizen's health care
needs, newly elected Democrat California Governor Jerry Brown
and his Democrat majority California legislature have proposed
cutting current Medi- Cal funding health benefits for current
Adult Day health Care ( ADHC ) Centers in California, which
help keep the greatest Generation Senior Citizens out of
Convalescent homes and cut health care costs by providing them
with needed health care and a place of day support.
Among others, one such type of Adult Day Health Care
Center is Alzheimers care : Support for those with Alzheimers
disease and their families. A significant number these centers
help prevent ' Wandering ' by Alzheimers patients, keep them
active, and provide health monitoring which is essential for
stable health in seniors. These centers also allow some
Alzheimers patients to live with their families, providing needed
Alzheimers education relief for families during the day with
medication monitoring, activity, exercise, and several meals
during the day for the patient. Great strides have been made
in the treatment of Alzheimers disease becasue these centers
are made available to Alzheimers patients and their families.
Among Catastrophic effects listed below in the following
petition description ( SEE BELOW THIS ), a MAJOR effect of not
providing continued funding for Adult Day Health Care ( ADHC )
centers to California's Senior citizens, YEARS of great strides
and work in the treatment of those with Alzheimers disease would be
thrown away.
There are currently 310 of these Asult day health Care Centers
of various types in California available for Senior citizens.
Statewide catastrophe for a great many Senior citizens and their
families will occur unless the cut proposal is rescinded by the
Democrat legislature and Governor Jerry Brown during the california
legislature Sub - Committee hearings during the week of Feb. 6, 2011
and the week of Sunday Feb. 13, 2011 ( possibly through for a
March 4, 2011 vote.
Let us honor the Greatest Generation who gave so much by taking
care of them !
Please contact your Califonia State legislator to oppose these
